Spirit Hunter: Yokai Rush (2020)

The game is styled as a 2D boss rush style game with hand-drawn animations. The theme is based around Japanese folklore, with an emphasis on Yōkai, supernatural spirits/demons/monsters. The player is a swordsman that seeks to dispel the evil of these beings.

Play as Loté, an experienced monster hunter on a quest to prove his legend. Battle against terrifying and mythical Yōkai in ancient Japan at beautifully rendered locations. There's no game like it. Prepare for the boss rush of a lifetime.

Moderate controller support (can't navigate menus)
